банк. счет "эскроу" [условного депонирования\], условно-депозитный счет (доверительный счет, открываемый у третьего лица и предназначенный для хранения средств одной из сторон соглашения и перечисления этих средств в пользу другой стороны соглашения при наступлении определенных условий; обычно это счет, на который при подписании контракта перечисляются средства как гарантия будущего платежа; часто такие счета используются при торговых операциях: на счете блокируются средства за покупку товара в качестве гарантии завершения сделки; счета "эскроу" могут использоваться также в процессе ипотечного кредитования для депонирования средств, предназначенных для уплаты налогов и страховых взносов; в контексте внешнего дога речь может идти об открытом за пределами страны-должника счете, на который страна-должник перечисляет часть доходов от экспорта и с которого осуществляются платежи по обслуживанию долга; также речь может идти о счете, на котором активы блокируются до завершения судебного разбирательства и определения законного владельца активов)
